Welcome to Greenhill Lakes
A mature specimen carp and mixed coarse lake, nestled in peaceful surroundings in central Scotland. The specimen lake is a 2.5 acre water with varying depths up to 15 ft. The lake bed is a mix of gravel, silt and sand, with various contours. The surrounding margins are lined with reeds, trees and flowers with a sprawling backdrop of open meadows and mature woodland.
The lake formed from an abandoned mineshaft, back-filled with concrete which was then dug out and shaped to be larger over 25 years ago. The stock at the moment is made up of Common Carp that are descendants of a small stocking of fingerlings introduced 24 years ago. A mix of new stock, consisting of Mirrored and Commons, were recently introduced in Jan 2025
The original natural survivors have dwindled in number but increased in size and are now being caught at up to 20 lb+.
Seldom fished for until now, the fish are extremely hard fighting and a lot of them are yet to grace the bank for a catch shot. This will, no doubt, be an exciting session for any carp angler.
The social peg, large enough for 3 anglers and equipment, allows for a lake exclusive booking, with the opportunity to stalk the lake during the day and fish safely at night, amongst horses and goats that roam free on this organic farm.

Your booking gives 24 hours exclusive access to the lake and its facilities, including accommodation, for up to 3 guests, from 10AM on your selected date until 10AM the following day.
1 Guest: £60
2 Guests: £100
3 Guests: £120
Non-fishing guests: £20 each.
Bait-boat hire: £20 per 24Hrs.
Firewood: £10 per bag.
Maximum total number of guests is 3. For parties greater than 3, please call to book, you will need to supply a bivvy for additional guests. Tuition available for Adults, beginners and children from £50, please contact us to discuss your needs and book.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable on booking. The remaining balance is payable, cash or bank transfer only, when you arrive on-site.
